A Life Moment
Here I Sit
Here I sit
wondering
what tomorrow
will bring...
Headline news
of riots, wars,
and pestilence...
happen everyday.
People are struggling
to make ends meet.
Wondering what
tomorrow may bring.

Life happens but it does seem pretty alarming with what is going on all around us. However remember that you need to live in the moment because that is the best we can do. But if you live as if each day is your last then you will do the things you really want to do. After all a good intention is just a puff of smoke. If you never follow through, it means nothing. Live a life of good actions not good intentions.

Goi Nasu
“An entire sea of water can’t sink a ship unless it gets inside the ship. Similarly, the negativity of the world can’t put you down unless you allow it to get inside you.”
Worry doesn't do anything for you. So why worry? Seriously if you think about it you may not even get to see tomorrow so why worry about it? Forget about the past, don't worry about tomorrow. Just live in the present because there is a lot going on.

Love Comes Softly
Sometimes love doesn't begin at first sight. Sometimes love comes softly meaning you grow to love someone that you didn't love before. I think it's the most difficult to love someone else when you lose someone you love because you already had love and then you lost it. They say it's better to have loved and lost rather than to never having loved at all but I wonder. It seems to make finding love again difficult. Don't you think? Hmmm... At any rate, if you're not a reader then you can watch this series on television or on DVD.

Dada
So what do new parents like to do? They like to get their children to speak. Mostly they want to hear their baby say "mama" or "dada" as their first words. As a doting Aunt I get to babysit often and I came across this book in the nursery the other day. I especially noted the big bushy eyebrows peering right at you. It's possible that dads are getting just a tad too competitive. I mean what are you going to do if your child's first word is "poop" or "doog" which just happens to be a short name for Hey Duggee!

Frank Morison
Who Moved the Stone?
Ever hear about someone who went out of his way to prove something as being fake but ended up believing it instead? That's what happened to Frank Morison. He was a lawyer set out to prove that Jesus never came back to life but things don't ever turn out the way they plan, do they?

I Carry Your Heart with Me...
i carry your heart with me
(i carry it in my heart)
i am never without it
(anywhere i go you go,
my dear;
(i carry it in my heart)
i am never without it
(anywhere i go you go,
my dear;
and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,
my darling)
i fearmy darling)
I was watching something recently and I heard this poem being read. I thought it was poignant. Love is an all encompassing word. It can be passionate, friendship, or sisterly/brotherly love.

Beauty Beyond the Ashes
Today commemorates the tragedy of 9/11/2001. Remember how I told you that everyone has a story? Well this book is written by the widower of one of those that were on the airplane that day. Her story, as well as countless of others, are being shared by those that were left behind. Sometimes a quirk of fate saves your life and sometimes you meet your destiny. If push came to shove, would you want to be left behind? Do you see the warning signs of impending doom? What will you do?

Ode to a Nose
The Nose Knows
The nose knows
what it does
not know
just by sniffing
and smelling
everything around.
Flowers smell good
and garbage smells bad.
Some smells
can be too pungent.
Some stinks
make you gag.
Some scents
make you sneeze.
Achoo! Achoo! Achoo!

Between colds and allergies some people just do not enjoy certain seasons to the best of their ability. And summer is on it's way out but fall is not far behind. Just like beauty is in the eye of the beholder so is smell. Because some people are ok with certain smells whereas some just aren't. And I didn't say ain't cause ain't is not a word but you know it probably is now.

William Shakespeare
"All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances..."
I was listening to a message tonight titled "The beginning of The End." What do you think? Do you agree that it's the beginning of the end? Ironically enough I was planning to write a poem with that title but he beat me to it. The stage is set and the players are all on stage. Will this be the ultimate tragedy to ever play on this earth?

Hmmm...
Wishful Thinking
I think I might
have a wish
I wish tonight!
I want to
meet you soon.
Someone...
I have never met
before.
Someone
that gets me.
Someone
that lets me
be me.
Someone
that I have
always hoped to meet
but not quite
sure existed.
If destiny
was meant
to lean that way.
That you and I
would meet!

They say you never know what you are searching for until you find it. But you know when it is not. Deep down inside you know. So your answer is no. Until you finally find what it is you're looking for. Because unfortunately others who are not in tune to who they truly are will try to catch you in their snares thinking they know you when they really don't. Who knows you best? You do! And with some people you always show your company manners and with some you know you are who you really are and so you are comforted and comfortable.
