This is a hubcap winter.  Time to buy a new hubcap or beg, borrow, or steal one....  That was just a joke.  Please don't steal.  However I do think that this is going to be a long cold winter.  Although bipolar is a word that comes to mind when I think of the weather.

Who needs redemption?  We all do...  Why?  Think about it...  We live in a fallen world:  A topsy turvy mixed up crazy world...  Where wrong is right and right is wrong...  Where did it go wrong?  And is it too late to make it right?

Greed is one of the deadly sins.  Why do you think that is?  It's interesting to see what God does to people who mishandle money and lie about it.  It's really not a laughing matter.

What God Wants...

Day in and day out...
we pass people...
people we know,
people we don't.

People we like,
people we don't.
People we think we know
until we realize we don't.

We lament...
we curse...
we hate...
we hurt...

Until...
can we forgive?
What does God want?
God wants to redeem.

Your will,
not ours.
Very hard
to do...

The willingness
to want
redemption
for someone
who we feel
doesn't deserve it.
Not one iota.
But yet...

Do you ever lament over some of the people you know.  The ones that you think are evil or horrible people?  People you feel don't deserve forgiveness?  Forgiveness is hard:  So hard...  Can you do it?  Remember that forgiveness is releasing that person to God but if that person has hurt you and caused you harm you don't have to have a relationship with them.  Forgiveness is for you to let go but it doesn't mean to be foolish.

Is Judgement day real?  What happens after we die?  Is it something you think about?  Or is it something you don't really want to thing about?  What about heaven and hell? 

If you believe this is true then you know what you have to do but if you don't believe are you willing to risk your life on this decision?  It's your choice...  No one else is going to make this choice for you.

These are troubling times and many people are living paycheck to paycheck and it doesn't take much to throw you out into the street.  So many people have lost their homes through natural disasters.  What is it like to feel truly devastated?  If you want to go through devastation then watch the movie, The Impossible, because after seeing that movie you will know what it means to go through "The Impossible!"

Know what the tip of the iceberg is?  Just the beginning of more...  It makes me think of The Matrix and of wanting to know or wanting not to know.  Some people live their whole lives in a lie and are perfectly OK with it:  The difference between living in reality and virtual reality.
