To All My Friends

Friends make our world!  I have a number of friends that I have known for a long time.  I came across this poem and thought of them.  They have been with me through thick and thin...  Through laughter, tears, and so many memories...  Sometimes life takes us down different paths and we don't get to see each other like we used to but remember this:  You never forget your friends and even if miles separate you all it takes is a text, an email, or a phone call and it seems like it was just yesterday that you saw them!

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

During times of war you need to put on your full armor because if you don't you will be maimed, killed, or destroyed...  There is an evil that lurks in this world that is just waiting for you to fall into it's trap.  Don't let it devour you...

We live on an earth where good and evil exist...  Some choose to live a good life and some choose to live an evil life...  And some have no choice...  But there is one choice that you can make...  And it's a personal choice...  You just have to find "the way!"

I went to an appreciation picnic recently and got a card with this verse on it.  Sometimes verses speak to you on a personal level because of what you are going through and they are personal promises from God.
