Ever hear about the story of Gomer and Hosea?  Theirs is a love story like no other...  Most religious people would turn over in their graves to have this as an example of what true love is.  And I can guarantee that this is every mother's worst nightmare for their sons especially the ones that are mama's boys...  A movie is coming out regarding this story but in a different historical era...  Perhaps you want to see it?

The Artist

& His Beloved Creation

There once was
an artist who created 
the earth in six days
and rested on the seventh.

He looked 
at everything 
he created 
and saw that it was good. 

However his creation
began to go awry.
And he destroyed his creation
in a flood.

An artist creates
and an artist destroys
because without the artist
the creation is nothing.

Nothing.
Nothing.
Nothing.
Nothing.

The artist 
is the one that gives life
to the creation.
Without the artist 
the creation is nothing.

Do what you want
and go your own way
but in the end
you will be kept or you will be destroyed
in an everlasting lake of fire.

Whether you realize it or not we really are nothing without The Artist:  The Ultimate Creator.  He designed us and gave us a rulebook to follow.  Perhaps you threw yours away?  In the end the ultimate showdown is between the creator and his creation...  Do what you want...  It's between you and the artist...  And I'm pretty sure who is going to have his way...  in the end...  There will be consequences for living the life you chose...  Love who you love and do what you want...  But there may come a time when you will be filled with regret...  Regret that will last an eternity...

People don't realize that God wanted Paradise for us...  Not Sodom and Gomorrah...  Or Nineveh...  Is opening Pandora's box really the way to go?  Looking for love in all the wrong places?  And spaces?  Why is it that we live in a time and place where a person wants to marry their pizza or a laptop?  Why indeed?

You do realize that no one is perfect, don't you?  We all have our limitations...  Everyone has a limitation...  Whether it be physical, mental, social, racial, socioeconomic...  However it's how we overcome them that makes the difference.  Some people become conditioned to accept the limitations given to them but others soar like eagles.

This past year I had the opportunity to hear Nick in person and he was phenomenal.  If God has blessed anyone he has blessed this man.  I couldn't stop crying listening to him.  He made such an impact!  Such an impact!  450 souls for Christ!  That is phenomenal!
