Choosing to See

Why does tragedy strike?  Our world is in constant turmoil.  We have been dealing with tragedy in Florida, Texas, California, Puerto Rico, etc.  And it doesn't stop there.  Tragedy can strike when we least expect it and take our loved ones so close to us.  Sometimes on purpose and sometimes by accident.  We don't know why?  At least not now but maybe someday we will see the bigger picture.

I opened my door this morning to a beautiful mist on the trees but that soon gave way to dismay as I navigated the roads with a solid fog covering.  The thing about fog is that you can only see so far so anything after that is just not visible.  Wondering why it's been so foggy lately?

Love in the 90's

Are you 90 and still in love with the person you married?  I read this book years ago and thought it was very sweet and very real.  When you've been with someone this long you are really together.  Some people can't even stay married for a year.  I remember working with a woman that told me that her marriage was over once she went on her honeymoon.  That is really not very long at all.  Is it?
