When I see you
I see you
on the outside.
When I know you
I see your
character on the inside:
Who you are...
Some people
value each other
based on what
they look like.
Somewhat shallow...
However
other people
value each other
based on who
they are
on the inside.
Some people
are have both
and some
have one
or the other.
Who are you?
What do you value?
Are you only
skin deep or
are you deep
as the ocean
where your soul resides?

Who are you? Do you know? Are you proud of who you are or are you ashamed? What you think of yourself does matter. Some people who don't like themselves drown themselves in alcohol, drugs, etc. You can change. Start out with a clean slate. Own who you are and commit to change. Some people can see themselves faults and all and some people feel that they can do no wrong.
