Isaiah

9:6

"For onto us a child is born..."

Do you believe?  Why do you believe?  Should we believe?  What happens if we don't believe?  Seeing is believing but believing without seeing is faith...

The Christmas Story

Do you know why we celebrate Christmas?  It all began with a baby born in a stable.  There were also shepherds, angels, and wise men.  I hope you had an enjoyable Christmas with family and friends.  :)

Are You Grinchy?

Or Are You Mad?

What's the true meaning
of Christmas?
A baby was born
and this day began.

Now we give gifts
to each other
because it is better
to give then to receive.

However there always
remains a scrooge
who has not a heart to share.
So grinchy is he...

Would you rather
be known as grinchy
or mad also crazy
because you believe...

In a baby that was born
so long ago.
A baby so controversial?
Born of a virgin?

What do you believe?
What do you value
as important?
Love, Faith, & Hope!

Peace to All!  Shalom!

Exactly what is the real reason for the season?  Do you know where Christmas originated from?  Christmas is not just about Santa Claus and Rudolph.  It's not just about gift giving but about receiving the greatest gift of all!

Snowflake Haiku

Frosty

Delicate frozen...
Snowglobe winter shake it up!
No two alike.  None!

@JoSH Poetic Popcorn Poetry

Have you ever heard that there are no two snowflakes that are alike?  Just like there are no two trees that are alike.  How is that even possible?  How is it not?

The Paradigm

Is life cyclical?  It's ironic how life sometimes repeats itself.  They say we all have a twin somewhere in this world and it is possibly true. I know that even some of my best friends have mistaken someone else for me as impossible as it seems.  Very odd!

12 Days of Christmas!

"On the first day of Christmas..."

Remember that song?  Something about a partridge and a pear tree...  Where did our Christmas customs come from?  Are you in the mood for Christmas yet?

In My Attic

Squirrel Haven

Life with squirrels
can be dreadfully awful
especially if
they live right above you.
With their noisy
and annoying ways.
The carrying sounds
of scurrying...
The pitter patter
of little feet.
The endless
gnawing and scratching
probably with teeth
like langoliers
don't you think?
The sound of rafters
moving and rattling
until slowly
they are removed
one by one
and taken away.

@JoSH Poetic Popcorn Poetry

I have heard different squirrel stories over the years and most people do not like squirrels.  They are annoying and irritating damaging pests.  Almost like giant size termites.  However they do look innocent when you see them gnawing on a nut.  Don't you think?

A Hideous Profile

Bold Malibu

Bold Malibu was the type of girl that went after what she wanted.  She had a painted on face that made her always look happy and winsome but in reality covered up a dark soul wrapped up in greed and deceit.  She only cared about her make-up and her money.  And she only went after guys for their looks.  She didn't care about the heart of the guy.  She threw tantrums if she didn't get her own way and cared about herself more than she cared about her husband or kids.  It didn't matter to her that she was married.  She would flirt with any guy she wanted.  And if she felt like it she would tell her hubby she was going away for the weekend to visit family when in reality she flew to distant cities with men that she met.  She thought she had it all and knew it all.  But she really didn't know anything at all.

Beware!  One day this girl will reap what she has sown

Where Did I Leave My Glasses?

A friend of mine recently told me that if you remember what you forgot then it's not serious because with the more serious type of memory loss you wouldn't even remember that you forgot.  Did that just make any sense?  At any rate with the constant stream of information surrounding us on a daily basis, is it any wonder that we forget sometimes?
