Christopher Columbus

"You can never cross the ocean unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore."

Have you ever been at a crossroads in life?  Do you think about the decisions you make?  Easy decisions, hard decisions...  Exactly where will your decisions take you?  Will they take you where you want to go or take you away from your goals?  We all have goals but life can always throw us a curve ball.  You just never know what the next day will bring...

Wave Haiku

Through the Mist

Gazing off a cliff
waves are crashing come hither
closer, closer still.

@JoSH Poetic Popcorn Poetry

Have you ever gazed out at a river or an ocean?  You have to love water to understand the feeling you get just staring at the waves as the tides move in and out:  Mesmerizing...

You get lost in the movement of the waves crashing on a sandy beach or against the well worn rocks.  You see the pelicans flying past in twos or threes sometimes even fours as well as the seagulls.

Soak it in!  Just soak it in...

Robert Wyland

The ocean stirs the heart, inspires the imagination and brings eternal joy to the soul."

What is it about the ocean that calls out to us?  To set sail, to stare at its vastness for hours, to react to its ebb and flow...  To be at one with nature and watch the seagulls fly...

Dangerous Surrender

What does it mean to take a risk?  To dangerously surrender?  We all go about our busy world living our busy lives but how many of us are willing to give our all to people who can't help us at all?  Think about the story of the good Samaritan and who helped whom?  Sometimes it's the most unlikely of people...  Those who have a giving heart!

Gusty Winds

Out on a pier...
Walking, Experiencing...
Sea life in oceans.

Life sometimes throws you the unexpected.  You just have to be ready when opportunity knocks.  You know what I mean?  Enjoy your weekend!  :)

L M Montgomery

"I feel as if I had opened a book and found roses of yesterday sweet and fragrant, between its leaves."

Do you know who Anne Shirley is?  "Anne with an E..."  She is the Canadian version of Laura Ingalls Wilder from Little House on the Prairie series.  I grew up with both of them.  Delightful books for younger girls.

The Shack Revisited

I finally had a chance to read The Shack and found within it glimmers reminiscent of a series written by Madeleine L'Engle called A Wrinkle in Time.  Both books are fiction books books although parts of The Shack are a true illustration of the author's heart journey:  A journey regarding the pathways to forgiveness.  I found it to be a riveting read.

This is not a book to be taken literally but figuratively if you know what I mean however I found it to be genuine in defining the suggested nuances of a trinity relationship.  If you would rather not read it then check out the movie instead.  Take special note of the dialogue between Mack and Wisdom.
