Sometimes a love story can take a lifetime to develop after years of no contact. This sequel continues on in the story of Sabina and the one she loves but she has a stalker too. George Washington, as well as many of our founding fathers, believed in providence. His life was a miracle of God's protection.
He did not want to be president but did so out of a sense of duty. And he definitely didn't want to be king. After his two terms in office he went back to his beloved home and family.

If you read about all the historical accounts in the Bible then you know who is behind all of history. God does whatever he wants. He can perform miracles. And he can cause immense pain due to retribution.
He is a God of mercy and a God of justice. And don't you forget it.
Another founding father who put his faith in God. Without God, would our nation even have existed? If you look at all that had to happen for America to exist...
And why did the pilgrims settle here? But to worship God!
