"Men lead lives of quiet desperation..." This is a favorite quote of mine because I strive to not live my life quietly desperate. I had to read Thoreau's book years ago for an English class and believe me, his book is not an easy one to get through. However there are always bits that you remember. This is the bit I remember. This is the kind of quote that makes you think Carpe Diem! It's time to seize this day!
