Robert Frost

The Road Not Taken

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

This poem excerpt is by Robert Frost and another favorite.  I like the question it poses.  It's a metaphor for the decisions we make in our lives.  Whether you realize it or not each and every decision you make impacts your life in some way, some more profoundly than others.

Think back on 9/11...  Talk about a profound decision and how it would have impacted your life had you gone to the twin towers to visit that day or taken that day off from work.

Sliding Doors is an interesting movie about decisions and how they impact your life.
