Divided We Fall
A country
split in two
by colors
red and blue.
A nation
torn
by conflicting
values.
Why be
conservative?
Why be
liberal?
Wasn't
this country
meant to be
a melting pot?
Of different
cultures,
peoples,
places.
Living
at peace
not war.
Love not hate.
Why
are we
divided
at all?
