1:15

"And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law."

Letting go...  means giving a person a choice...  they have free will to do what they want...  Orpah made the decision to go but Ruth stayed with Naomi and eventually met Boaz!  And got to be in the lineage of Jesus...
