T S Eliot

The Wasteland

"April is the cruellest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain."

The above is an excerpt from T S Eliot's The Wasteland.  I thought it was apt what with all the rainy weather we've been having.  It almost feels like April, doesn't it, instead of June.  And July is not that far off.
